Yesterday was a special day as we welcomed Year 4/5 students from Yenton Primary School for their final celebration STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) session.
The students have been working with our talented Technology team over a number of weeks on constructing strong baskets to hold eggs as they are launched rocket-style in the playground!
It was lovely to welcome the Yenton staff including the Headteacher and 40 parents eager to see what their children have been doing. The weather remained clear ( though cold! ) and eggs were blasted into space from our playground.
Many eggs survived the landing but not all. Nevertheless, the children enjoyed applying what they had learned and there were some very proud parents and teachers.
