Celebration Evening 2018

Thank you to all parents and carers who came to our annual Celebration Evening on Tuesday 10th July.

The event was an opportunity to formally recognise students’ achievements in academic, sporting and other special categories and also featured some wonderful musical and dramatic acts to showcase the talents of students at Erdington Academy.

The evening opened with a short video featuring students talking about their ambitions in life – a core value of the school. If that wasn’t inspiring enough, the audience also enjoyed performances of Beethoven’s ‘Fur Elise’, performances of ‘Blood Brothers’ and ‘Hairspray’ from our Drama students as well as performance poetry inspired by Windrush and, of course, our Samba Band.

There are still some remaining tickets for performances of ‘Hairspray’ on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th July.
