Useful Websites for Students for Study

Links to explore learning beyond the classroom and widen your knowledge into key areas

Over the coming weeks students will be expected to continue with their studies. To ensure this can happen, students will:

  1. Need to read for 20-30 minutes daily (Evidence suggests students with a higher reading age will achieve higher results at KS4)
  2. Complete work set by Teachers on Show My Homework (To ensure students continue their learning within each subject area)
  3. Be able to contact their Teachers through Show My Homework to ask queries
  4. Have access to the SHARP system to report any concerns they have

In addition to the above, there are wide range of resources available online that are either subject specific or develop students’ general knowledge and cultural understanding. For example, there are a wide range of virtual tours available for museums, galleries and zoos across the world.
