– Curriculum Overview

The GCSE Computer Science course will give students a depth understanding on computational thinking and programming. Computer Science will offer students an insight on critical thinking, analysis and problem solving which can be transferred further into everyday life learning.

Students in Years 9, 10 and 11 will complete the following units of work; System Software, Binary, Storage, Legal aspects of computing, Algorithms, Pseudocodes and Programming.

The computer rooms are open after school on a daily basis which allows students to catch up on their work and get support from the computer science teachers.
